One way is to use the "onstat -g ppf" command, which shows the
tables that are currently active along with some other info.
Another is to use the following script, presented at the IIUG
track at the User Conference. Be sure to check out the site for
more of the same, at http://www.iiug.org .
dbaccess sysmaster - <<EOF
select dbsname,
tabname,
isreads,
iswrites,
lockreqs
from sysptprof
where dbsname = "$1"
order by isreads desc;EOF
Of course, as far as Informix is concerned, the warnings in the
OnLine Admin Guide about these tables being unsupported and subject
to change without warning still apply.
