Informix CLI driver ODBC vs Native Access Help

Hello, While looking at the new Informix CLI drivers which are in fact ODBC Ver 3.0 32 bit drivers, it seems that Informix now wants all client-server interaction to go through ODBC rather than any "native" access. Does Informix still support native access through I-NET or CLI? Is native access still better than ODBC or does 32-bit ODBC make this irrelevant? I am using PB 5.0 with the Informix CLI 7.2 on a Windows NT 4.0 platform. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx mike@atx.com
