So which anonymous Oracle employee is comparing 64 bit performance with 32 bit performance and expecting us all to go wow isn't everybody else so slow! WE do have a bit more intelligence than that. I would be extremely worried if Oracle on a 64 bit machine couldn't beat the price/performance of 32 bit systems. Has anyone else done any official TPC-C benchmarks on 64 bit systems? I certainly haven't heard of any yet. So as usual this piece of information from Oracle is completely useless!
