I am confused as to what commands you used for each colour, because as far as I know 'xterm' is not a colour emulator. I have not seen one supplied on SUN. However, I have seen colour in a 4GL program working on a SUN, but we were using a third party terminal emulator, the name of which escapes me as it was over 5 years ago.
