John. A couple of other things. The manual states that it is not necessary to load the Visual C Workbench (to save space). As it turns out NewEra looks for the MSVC.INI file so it does have to be loaded. In total the package requires much more than the 50 megs minium requirement that is stated in the manual. I found that the whole package was sloppily put together which leads me to rapidly lose faith in the quality control and seriousness of Informix's NewEra team.
