Informix SE --> INET --> Informix WGS ?

Everyone, If I have 2 SCO Servers, one running Informix SE and one Running Informix WGS, Both Running Inet (Or is it I-Connect?). Can the 2 databases talk? ....Can I <<< Insert into some_tbl_on_WGS SELECT * FROM some_tbl_on_SE >>> ?? ....Can I write a 4gl program that can run on both machines locally ?? ....Can I write a 4gl program that can 'SEE' both databases ....Are the data formats totally incompatable ??
