Hi, What about: 1. Setting Informix server in sqlhosts to listen just on localhost (set third field to localhost) 2. Writing a small program (really small) that just accept a connection from inetd and make the connection to the localhost informix port. 3. Configure this program to be invoked by inetd through tcp_wrapper.
