How would you write a Java class that executed an http post request? So, write that class. Now, look at what it takes to register a class within IDS. Modify your class, or wrap it, so that it can be called from within IDS. Register your interface with the DBMS (each database within the DBMS instance). Use it. Worry about re-entrancy and non-blocking rules. -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2003.04 -- http://dbi.perl.org/
