Why LD_LIBRARY_PATH not effects in HP-UX 10.20?

This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------3083C2C87B4C9439465821B1 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I compiled my *.java program in HP-UX 10.20 without any error message. But when I run the program with java MyClass I got he java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError when I run my Java program containing Native Method invocations Well, according to FAQ, that means it can't find a shared library *.sl file. In Solaris, if the shared library *.so files are not in /usr/lib and /usr/lib/X11, then all I need to do is set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable. But this seems has no effect in HP-UX! My experiences in C/C++, during the compiling time, it requires to use -Lpath -lshared_lib options in cc or gcc. But javac does not have these kind of options! Then, what is the solution? BTW, I am used HP version of JDK 1.1.3 and the shared library is libIfmxLibmiNatives.sl from Informix Dynamic Server 7.3 JDBC driver. Thank you in advance if you have solution for me! -- RC Square Team. --------------3083C2C87B4C9439465821B1 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="vcard.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Chui /Chen, Raymond/Ruiming Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="vcard.vcf" begin: vcard fn: Raymond/Ruiming Chui /Chen n: Chui /Chen;Raymond/Ruiming org: RC Square adr: ;;;;;;U.S.A. email;internet: rctwo@erols.com title: CS tel;work: 301-498-8959 tel;fax: 301-498-8959 tel;home: URL http://www.erols.com/rctwo/ note: Raymond Chui & Ruiming Chen Company x-mozilla-cpt: ;0 x-mozilla-html: TRUE version: 2.1 end: vcard --------------3083C2C87B4C9439465821B1--
