Some BLOB questions

We're in the process of evaluating a document imaging viewer (called Imagenation) to integrate with our D4GL package. I have a few questions. 1) Does anyone have experience with using this package and storing the images in an Informix database? Did you have any problems? 2) Is IDS sufficient for storing blobs, or should we be looking at other flavors of the engine? 3) Does anyone use any other imaging viewers (besides Imagenation) that they like?
