dynamic ESQL question

Hello, Can anyone provide me some input in formulating a query that will do the following: 1. Write a dynamic SQL statement that will retrieve a single row of column information from a table? I know the name of the table, and the primary key and ONLY one row is to be retrieved with unknown column information. 2. I will issue two such queries for 2 rows of a given table, and then will compare each column field and write the column names and values that are different to a file. This problem is intended to "diff" the contents of 2 records with the same schema from the database and display the changes to a file. Note that I don't have knowledge of the specific column fields of the table in advance. All I know is the table name and the primary key to uniquely fetch a given row. I intend on using sqlda. Has anyone written similar code and can point me to some examples either on-line or on the web? Thank you very much!!
