I just talked to a 4J's rep here in Germany about the pricing. I had been in contact with the company about 2 years ago, but we lost interest after we heard the outrageous prices. Now they say they are planning to restructure the pricing scheme in favor of cheaper development and more expensive runtime licenses. Not quite what I had hoped to hear. Maybe Informix will have more reasonable prices. I'd love to get my hands on this product, but not at these figures.
