hstools/olv6/sql problem

i am running on-line version 6 along with hstools. i am trying to do the following in hstools execute immediate "database stores6@trimsdevtli" { i check sqlca[1] and it returns 0 so it works } execute immedite "select * from manufact" { or any command } it hangs up after the command above(nothing works, the windows don't get refreshed, none of the menus function, i can't close a window from the window menu(motif) but i can iconify it although that doesn't do any good) and the only way i can kill it is to stop it and kill the job number or kill the pid. has anybody else run into this problem or know what might be going on?
