ODBC to Linux connection. Error -956?

Hi, I'm trying to get a windows client to connect to my SE server on Linux (Red Hat 5.2). The problem I'm having is when I run Ilogin, I get an error -956 ("Client client-name is not in /etc/hosts.equiv on the remote host."). I can watch, when I try to connect, and see messages indicating that my client login is not accepted, so I know there are communications going back and forth over the net. So, I'm assuming that the message is correct. However, I don't have a "hosts.equiv". I have "hosts.allow" and "hosts.deny". How do you go about getting a connection from an ODBC client to the Linux server? Does anyone have an example of values to use on the Server and Client settings? Also, I'm using the Client SDK 2.01 with the Informix Driver 3.01. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Joe.
