I-Net <-> Winsocket workaround

Informix I-Net for Windows seems to put FTP Software's winsock.dll in debug-mode. The result is that applications that use I-Net (I-DBA, Viewpoint, Hyperscript Tools etc) seem to hang, while the system desperately is trying to find the AUX-port to write debug-info to. Henrik at Informix Tech Support, Scandinavia told me about this work-around: Enter a new section in your SYSTEM.INI named [DEBUG]. Put the line outputto=nul into that section (just one L! ). That is: [DEBUG] outputto=nul This will redirect all debug-information into outer space and your application will run like it should.
