Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi all,
ok, I confess, the subject was not meant to be serious ;-)
I know that UNLOAD TO / LOAD FROM is not SQL but
a dbaccess/isql feature.
Still, since some of us love unload files and sometimes want
to have that functionality on a non-dbaccess connection also,
we produced some java classes which "mimic" LOAD FROM/
UNLOAD TO.
It is possible to store or load dbaccess-like load and unload files.
There are still some limitations with some datatypes (BLOBS
and so on), but the good thing is that it works with other databases
too to some extend.
The stuff is freeware including source code and documentation.
Feel free to do with it whatever you want. It would be nice if
you would give us some feedback. Whenever we have time
we will improve the code. Contributions are welcome.
How to donload the JAR-File:
1. go to http://www.GunCon.de
2. klick on Downloads in the left Menu
3. Klick on Java Software
4. Klick on DBLoader to download
Regards,
Dirk
