WELLS FARGO SIGNS SITE LICENSE WITH INFORMIX MENLO PARK, Calif., (April 24, 1995) -- Informix Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:IFMX), the leading provider of parallel processing database technology, today announced that Wells Fargo Bank, California's second-largest bank, has signed a site license agreement. Wells Fargo is looking to Informix database technology to: 1) gain more knowledge of its customer base through easier access to consolidated relationship information, 2) identify and deliver new and targeted products to market, more easily and more quickly, and 3) continue to extend cost-effective solutions to its customers. The Informix system will support various UNIX(R)-based, open systems platforms in operation at Wells Fargo. The bank will also have access to Informix services including consulting, training, and technical support.
