In reply to Malcolm, I've been told that IBM don't support 4J's, and we hadn't been reported by Open as the VAR, so 4Js couldn't advise us about renewal. We got support from 4Js UK, and very good support it is - and they didn't penalise us for the elapsed time, and gave us an upgrade to Genero which is a damn good product. And it's cheaper than from Open I'm told by the guys in purchasing. I think Neil Truby does Informix support too. At least he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
