Re.restore & table accessed by users.

Hi,
Have 2 questions for you folks:
1) We took backup, made some changes on the table for new indexes and
realised that performance is degrading for this table, so we rolled back by
restoring level "0" and level "1" backup. But here after the restored
performance got more worst, run update statistics but it did not make any
difference, any clue what could have gone wrong.
2) How do I find out which users are accessing TABLE-A, not using onstat -g
sql or onstat -g ses command, need to know the
systable names and the field to run the query.
