RE: Resolution of IDS/Passport Advantage availability (NOT)

It would appear there is a giant step backwards. First, let me say that we have had excellent assistance from what I believe are likely former Informixers (as opposed to IBMers), and we in fact now have IDS 10.0 in our hands. However, it may be that the general problem of IDS availabliity for "Gold Program" licensees at their PA customer site remains unresolved for many. It would appear that IBM is still not even planning to make IDS 10.0 available to "Gold Program" licensees. Had we not received satisfaction from interested IBM third parties, this issue would now be in the hands of our Attorney General's office. Immediately below is text from PA received today: Greetings The response to the Parts Issue is as follows: IDS v10.0 has not been added to the Gold Bundles at this time. Product management is aware of the need to update the bundles with the latest and greatest version of its components but no firm plans have been made at this time to do so.
