The information contained in TechInfo is a part of the value of a support contract. I don't know of any plans to change that to something you get for free. Quite the contrary, the new support pricing strategy is designed to bring the costs of our support in line with Oracle's. (Read: higher.) In future posts, I'll try to refrain from referring to "privileged" sites unless I note it. Also, remember that I am just trying to explain things as I see them when I can. My remarks are not to be construed as Informix policy--just my "worm's eye view" interpretation.
