I'm not independently wealthy either. But with my charm and wit I usually
manage to get people to see things my way.

I wonder if you can use an external backup solution.
You can block the server then take copies of the appropriate files or
raw partitions and then unblock the servers. You can then take the
copies of the servers and start them up on a test server configured
exactly like the production server.
