Appart from the solution you describe here and in other posts in this thread there are of course the three other solutions of using either Dynamic 4GL, Etrus or possibly Querix compilers that all are or will soon be available natively on Linux. Which of these will support Red Hat Linux for development now I am not sure however. As you may know there is a problem with ESQL/C on Red Hat and that may reflect on these compilers as well.
