TextBlobType and Matches
Happy Easter!
I have problem with text matching on IDS 7.30 (without UDO).
I want create my own diary:
create table diary
(
thedate date not null,
thenote text,
unique(date)
)
But when I run "select * from diary here thenote matches '*something*' ",
IDS returns error 219 with "Wildcard matching may not be used with
non-character types."
I tested also VARCHAR, but 256 bytes is few for me.
Could you help me? Is any way (without UDO )?
