LVARCHAR to CLOB Cast

The web datablade has a cast from LVARCHAR to CLOB and vice versa. Other than installing the web datablade or attempting to build the cast from scratch, is there any way to get the cast for 9.4? My OS's are AIX, SOL, and Win. I tried searching through the bladelets, but IBM's website happens.
