Mars Chen asked which system table holds the size of a session's sort file such as 77_SORT_0 shown by onstat -g ses. Art Kagel said the sys*rst* tables hold thread-specific data. Mars looked at sysrstcb, found it hard to get the size, and noted syssesprof has max_sortdiskspace, dsksorts and total_sorts. Not fully resolved.

Dear All...
I test an esql/c application which select * from a-big-table
order by non-index fileds in endless loop , and then I run
onstat -g ses 77 showes there is a "77_SORT_0" which takes 77824K(or page?)
memory .... so far so good ~~~
and then I am curious to know which system table contains this data?!
I try to select * from sysmaster:syssesprof , there is a file : total_sorts
, but this field is just the number os session's sort count ,
I want to know which systables contains the size of sorting file size,
in my case , "77_SORT_0" or 77824K ( or page?) ..
Thanks ~~
Version of IDS? OS?

The sys*rst* tables contain thread specific profile, tracking, and
management data.

I think that need times , for it is like a linking list ...
also , I think syssesprof would mean something to me ,
max_sortdiskspace,dsksorts,total_sorts , ...
