However, most ODBC drivers require that you load and run Informix-Net on the client as well as having I-Net or I-Star loaded and running on the server. Two notable exceptions are OpenLink (http://www.openlinksw.com) and SCO's SQL-Retriever (http://www.vision.sco.com/brochure/sqlretriever/quiz.html), both of which load drivers on the server and the client.
