Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

You can get the release notes at www.informix.com. They should detail
the
product changes between releases (or at least the Solaris ones do).
Once you have loaded all of your data, I would recommend that you run
'update
statistics' for your database(s). If you are going to use
dbexport/dbexport,
then the dbexport process does this for you. There are a few threads
(mine
included) which talk about upgrading, and then working with the new
product.
