Large telecom company in the North Dallas area is looking for a Senior Database Architect to lead a team in the development of a mammoth Informix database. Must have experience in relational database analysis, architecture and administration. Strong SQL and data modeling are also required, along with star and/or schema design. Familiarity with extracts, leads, transforms, and other OODMS concepts. Must have previous experience in datamapping or data warehousing and work with business objects. This team will be responsible for the logical design and implementation of the Informix database that will hold all of the corporate information. Team leader must have strong communication skills and a track record in logical and physical design of a large corporate data base and/ or data warehouse with three tier architecture.
