Hi Russ,
AFAIK, the Informix program "dbexport" generates an sql file that
can be run in Informix to recreate the database, plus a data file
for each table. The sql script will probably need some modification
to be used with another RDBMS, but it should be "do-able". The data
files are delimited woth pipe signs between the columns, and newline
characters between the rows.
If you get hold of Informix, all you need to do is run "dbimport"
from the command line - much easier, and you'll have a decent
database to work with in future :-)
