IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC6
while doing following ALTER TABLE ec_archived_cert
ADD template_reference varchar(20,0);
I got following message
222: Cannot write to temporary file for new table (paqis.ec_archived_cert).
136: ISAM error: no more extents
Error in line 32Near character position 40
MY questiion is has it actually run out of extents or disk space.If disk space
is it temp dbspace or space where table resides - dataspc5
THis job ran overnight so I was not able to watch available space
there are 17 extents in table.
I am reloading database to try again .
Try increasing the NEXT SIZE of the table before trying the ALTER.
