I don't know about the latest releases, but compared to earlier releases (a year ago or so) server based drivers like OpenLink gave both much better performance, reliability and not the least functionality. The functionality part is still so much better that there is realy no doubt I would chose OpenLink and not even think about Intersolv for ODBC drivers.
