[Q] Internal Error 161

I hit this internal error recently but it happens in a most peculiar manner. I need to save a record into a table which has a BLOB field, a serial field and several other attributes. Each record in the table can up updated via 2 ways in my program. One is through the Save button and another is through the Quit button. When the Quit button is pressed, the user is asked if he wants to save the data if changes had been made. The 2 update opertions calls the same ESQLC function to do the update. I consistently encounter error 161 when I do the update via the Quit button. With the Save button, the update was OK. I'm really puzzled with this one. I'm using Informix 5.01 running on HPUX-9.01.
