Help - Suggestions for Data Loads in Informix tables

Help!!! I would appreciate if anyone could help me with the following: I am new to the Informix World. Scenario: Have a data file with well defined record layouts. This file is refreshed every week with new data. Goal: To automate the process of data loading into a normalized Informix database with minimal manual intervention. Current Strategy Proposed: Have sets of temporary tables created which mirror the file layout. Then use stored procedures to load the data from these temp tables to the Normalized tables. HELP: What's the best strategy? Any pointers to past discussions would be helpful. ashi@thomtech.com
