Folks,
IDs11.50 FC8
We have more work/job/volume which make checkpoint times very long (
hundreds seconds)
I want to monitor which tables contribute most of the work in checkpoint
time.
Any better choices there?
Thanks,
Frank

Easiest: onstat -z shortly before a scheduled checkpoint then monitor
onstat -g ppf to see IO activity by partnum immediately after thecheckpoint completes.
