NewEra - Problem with data checking

Hi, Informix NewEra users! I have a problem like this: In a window I have SuperFields connected to one DB table (e.g. customer). One of the SuperFields contains a column that is foreign key to another table (e.g. country). After every change in this country field I want to check, whether it contains a correct value (i.e. a value form the country table). According to documentation - afterDataChanged event is suitable for this. I tried it, but it works only when the user tries to exit the field (using Tab) for the first time after changing data. When he presses Tab once more, the cursor moves to the next field without any warning. When the next control in the tabbing order is button, the checking doesn't work at all. I have also tried to use focusOut and afterCell events (which, I think, are less suitable), but I am not satisfied with the results. Does anybody know, how to solve this problem?
