Restoring To A Point In Time

hi All, I'm new to Informix but got some good answers from my last request for info here. We're running Informix 7.23 on a Digital Unix 4.0B Cluster. We'll also be running Informix 7.?? on NT 4.0. For reasons of application design it seems as though we may need to synchronise the Archives on these two platforms. No problems there. We're using ontape to do the Archives. I've neen told that it is not possible to restore an Informix Database to a Point in time using the Logs to roll forward from the last Archive. Is this true? If this is the case it means that I can't roll forward the two databases from a common Archive point to a particular point in time. If this is not possible with ontape, is it possible with any of the other Informix Archive Products? regards, Rob.
