Dear Chris! Sun Microsystems is still working on version 3.0 of Solaris, I think you are confuse about SUNOS and SOLARIS. If you go to Sun and ask for Solaris 5.5 they will tell you, We are still working on 3.0. We must know the description of your hardware (ie. ALPHA SERVER 2100 4-275 ) and OS version, in your case supply the solaris version not the SUNOS version, and that is it. I have a customer with an ENTERPRISE SYSTEM 4000 with solaris 2.5.1 , SUNOS 5.5 (Sunos is really not important here), and Yes, with that description we should find the Platform Id, and Product ID.
