It might be one of two things:
1. The "P" in "PSORT" stands for "Parallel", and since you only have one
dbspace, there's no parallelization. Try PSORT_DBTEMP=/dbtemp1:/dbtemp2
(and preferably more than two!)
2. Is PSORT_NPROCS set?
