unloading a dbspace

I am using Informix Universal Server 9.14UC2 on Solaris 2.5.1. I have a database which has tables spread across 9 dbspaces and two of them are smart blob spaces. What I would like to do is to unload each dbspace, copy the file to another instance of online to restore into a dbspace which is setup with the same name and size. I cannot use ontape to restore the database because the chunk names are not the same and there is alreay a another instance of Online setup which has the same chunk names. Also I tried to dbexport the database but some the tables have corrupt data and the export crashes about half way through. Does anyone know which informix utility I can utilise to do this ? thanks in advance for any help.
