Concatenate within a Select?

Hi! I feel like this has to be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer... How do I tell a Select statement to concatenate 2 columns as a computed column? Something like SELECT A, B, C, A + B key_fields FROM ... the idea being to return one column, key_fields, that contains a and b concatenated together. (The plus causes an error.)
