For your info they are comeing out with raw disk access as well soon and say it gives you about 10% better performance. According to Stonebreaker ther will eventually be an administration tool with two buttons only: On and Off. This is in the workgroup server, which will also be available on Unix. I assume it will take some time to develop this, but you may want to think about it if you are a DBA.
