No.

All you have to do is shutdown the database server, install the new
version, then start up the database server again.
Just speak to Consulting / Tech Support first to check the version
numbers. If you are going from 5 to 7 for instance, you would first have
to migrate to version 5.08 or something.
Of course all the usual migration rules apply, like take an archive
first, etc. ;-)
