But this fairly familiar drivel is going poorly with me and I would hope the same is true of my colleagues. --------------- STUFF LEFT OUT --------------- > You invest $5, and you recieve a return on your investment. I suspect it is perfectly legal to peddle this scam up and down the houses of my neighborhood, but I would have a hard time looking someone in the eye and explaining that they need to go to the 200 blocks to carry it on. --------------- STUFF LEFT OUT --------------- > 3) Post the article to at least 200 newsgroups. Someone is surrounded by idiots. --------------- STUFF LEFT OUT --------------- This is obviously only a quixotic tirade. The last time I saw some of this I tried responding to sender and received the old electronic address unknown. If it were smart, which it isn't; if it were legal, which I suspect it probably isn't but will require some court case to establish.... it is still an abuse of the place we live and/or work. I have occasionally seen messages suggesting what to do about it, but like most of us, I have other things to do and shelf my irritation, but if someone knows of an effective way to curb this crap, I'd be glad to help. -- Con Woodall Colorado St. U.; Veterinary Teach.
