Please try to understand ... I teach at the University of Washington less than three miles from the Microsoft campus. And some of Microsoft's employees, and ex-employees, are my students. And at Christmas parties here on Mercer Island, given a few hours to drink themselves into loose tongues, fascinating conversations take place. I know for a fact that I was correct. The MS employee was doing what I would expect them to do or may not have been aware of the facts. Either way I stand by my statement. You are incorrect. And you still don't know the first thing about Oracle Streams. That said I'll leave this thread as it certainly appears to be deteriorating into invective and my point was made with respect to the PL/SQL. -- Daniel A.
