I believe 7.3 will have a default storage manager...
When I went on my Informix DBA course and Informix UK even the
Informix instructor did not recommend OnArchive.
OnArhive was NOT written by Informix but by an outside contractor.
Informix didn't like it so they wrote OnBar themselves.
I would use ontape remembering that point in time
recovery is not available and you can only use one tape
drive containing one tape..
