Informix and NIS [?]

There was many articles about Informix and NIS+, and informixers suggests that I must use NIS. It works good for Interactive UNIX, but for Solaris don't. F.e., if /etc/services contains sqlexec service then I-Star works. But if sqlexec service is only in nis map (ypcat services show me sqlexec), then the problem occures.
