Online 7.1 UC1 Query bug?

I found what appears to be a bug when attempting a query to a 7.1 UC1 Engine, and I'd like to hear from anyone else who has seen anything similiar... When trying to obtain a substring value from a column, what was returned was less than what should have returned. For example: SELECT column[2,7] FROM table WHERE whatever returned "34567" instead of "234567" (column value is "1234567"). I know this is a bug, since I executed the same query on an Online 5.01 Engine and got the proper result.
