External tables in Win server
Posted in 2012
Topics: General Discussion
Hi!
I am testing external tables with IDS 11.70 on a Windows-server, and get the
following error:
17.12.2012 12:39 Executing statement:
Create external table ext_xyz (col1 integer, col2 char(20)) USING (DATAFILES
("DISK:d:\\\\temp\\\\xyz.unl"), FORMAT "DELIMITED");
Exec Time: 00:00:00,102; Statement executed
17.12.2012 12:39 Executing statement:
insert into ext_xyz select tabid, tabname from systables;SQL Error (-26154): Could not open file: (file, errno)=(d:\\\\temp\\\\xyz.unl,13).
Error Position: Ln: 7 Col: 56
Any ideas? I have tried all variations using slashes back and forward and the
file exists on the server.
Thanks,
Lauri Pietarinen
Hello.
-26154 Could not open file: errno, filename.
An error occurred when the database server tried to open the file. Check the
accompanying error for more information. Possible causes include missing
file or incorrect permissions.
According to your message, errno 13 means:
13 /* Permission denied */So check file permissions, correct them, and run
again.
Regards.
