How to know Informix Server Name

Hello friends: I have a question!!! I have a machine with SCO Linux. This server have installed Informix Standard Engine 4.1, but i don't know informix server name. I've seen the cofiguration files but all are incorrect and INFORMIXSEVER too. Is there any way to know this name? Maybe, across memory ? Thank you for all.
There is no "server" per se for Infomrix SE. So, the name of the what would be the server for more advanced databases (like Informix Dynamic Server) is the name of the database. The name of the database is the name of the directory where its files are stored minus the file extension (?? .dbs ?? It's been over 20 years since I last set up an SE database.) If the database is accessible remotely, then there will be an sqlexecd process running that had the database's port number passed to it on the commandline, but the database that it provides access to would only have been named in the environment that started that task/service. Thank you Art Kagel.
I undestand the concept for server and database, but I confused respect if
INFORMIXSERVER is required, because, for example, when i try to execute
dbexport ocurre the next error: attempt to connect to database server failed...
thank you very much...
Hmm, if the database directory is not under the current directory when you
start up clients like dbexport, then you have to set DBPATH to the absolute
path of the database directory.
